Working with Fujifilm for many years now they are fully aware of our full retail design solutions and when they asked us to design, develop and manufacture a photo printing area to sit within a brand-new store in Leeds we were happy to help.
The Brief.
The project brief outlined the need to create two printing areas to be located at Wex, a photography and video store, that would cater to the customers varying printing needs.
The first area is for instant printing and provides a space for customers to quickly and conveniently come into store, print their photos and get on with their day.
The second area allows users to be a little more creative. This printing kiosk is a space where customers can come and print photos at their leisure. They can play around with filters and editing and even create canvases or gifts.
Enjoyable Experience.
Set back into an alcove the kiosk feels a little more private and the seating provided encourages customers to relax and enjoy the experience. We wanted to make this space feel as homely and comfortable as possible and, using creative retail design, we achieved this by adding shelving with picture frames and hanging lifestyle imagery.
Brand Identity.
The overall look and feel of the printing area is clean and modern. Incorporating the use of slatted wood panelling and illuminated logos not only reinforces consistency across Fujifilm’s existing retail estate but it helps to create a more premium finish also. The entire project was completed within a four-week period and as always we thoroughly enjoyed working with the Fujifilm team. 🙂
